wicked witch/you me
Wicked Witch/You Me was created in response to sound artist Tomoko Hojo's exhibition at the Hundred Years Gallery in London. Inspired by and reflecting on the work of Yoko Ono, Hojo asked a number of sound artists to respond to a list of words which had been collected from writings about Ono and her work.
Wicked Witch/You Me is an instructive score for two listeners, both of which are asked to listen towards each other's inner world of sound. It asks us to consider listening as an act of empathy, a reaching out towards one another, an attempt at connection and understanding.
