pages investigate an undercurrent of inner sounds within our everyday lives, thoughts, and emotions, attempting to bring it to the surface.
The piece consists of several fictional works, which have been read by the artist. During the reading, particular attention was paid to any inner sound experiences. Any sentences, words or paragraphs in the books that trigger an inner sound during the reading have been marked – both by underlining the text, and stitching tracing paper onto the page directly.
The books act as a sketchy map of the artists' inner sound world. A map that is impossible to follow or understand, Instead, you are invited to interact with the work, and listen inwards, perhaps to discover your own inner world of sound.
